We went to the Bronx Zoo for a little something different.

His legs are closer to the ground than mine are when I'm on it!

Well thanks to Aunt Suzie getting Diesel one for his birthday, I was researching how to care for a Hermit Crab on the Internet.
Apparently, all they need to survive is a tropical habitat (luckily the snake room is perfect), a daily misting, a big tank with a  playground as well as food, fresh water and salt water. Oh yeah, and they get depressed if they are alone, so they need company.
We went to the pet store for a 10 gallon tank, food, water conditioner and ONE more small hermit crab.
We came home with: sand, 2 water dishes, a food dish, two new shells, a coconut climber, fancy driftwood, a hermit crab pooper-scooper, cuttlebones,  water conditioner, salt water drops, a 20 gallon tank with a light, a thermometer, a humidity gauge and TWO more hermit crabs.
So, $180.00 and 2 MORE pets later, here are the pictures.
The big one's name is (supposed to be Sebastian but Diesel calls him) Hermit Crab, then there's Spidey and the last one (is supposed to be Pelè but Diesel calls him) SoccerBaseball.
We had fun :-)

Today 6/3/07 we went to the Big Sandbar Antique Motor cycle show.

I think Diesel had a pretty good time.

Girls, trucks, and bikes!
