I just picked up a '03 KTM EXC 450.

Here's the first part I've bought for my new ride which has been renamed

"Dirt Tanker"

25 liters!!!

Or for those metricly challenged that's a whopping 6.6 US gallons!!!

It's HUGE!!!

We call it the "Gyno Tank"!!!

In the 3 pics above the tape measure in the background is open to 914mm (or 36")!

Gyno Tank Front.jpg (87234 bytes)

In this picture (above) the tape is open to 610mm (24")!

The tank is about 555mm (22") wide!

I may just use this monster for when I go away with the 450 to do some serious explorations and also pick up the IMS tank that's 3.3 gallons for riding shorter distances.

The stock tank is a 2.2. We'll see.

The 450 has been going through some changes.

New springs front and rear

Revalved front suspension

Air Cells

Scotts steering damper

Rekluse z-Start Pro Automatic Clutch

Old Clutch Basket

Everything out.

Rekluse Basket

Rekluse done.

Watchdog 2000 Enduro Computer

Reworked stock seat with gel added.

Here's the stock seat with bottle for reference.

And here's the lowered gel seat.

Here's the gel seat in front of the stocker.

And here's the side by side.

The gel seat is 4cm lower and 7 cm wider than the stock seat.

Weight is probably double (that gel is HEAVY!)

Lowers the seat height from 95cm (37.4") to 91cm (35.8").

I could use the 4cm (1.6") drop.
