'01 Sherco 2.9
I dug out the '01 Sherco 2.9 last week for some maintenance.
It's at Carmine's house now so we've been riding it around his yard.
We'll be riding over the Jaguar in no time.
Here are some pics.
Just in case I try to sell the Sherco someday I took some basic snap shot.
I gotta tell ya, every time I ride it it slips further down my "For Sale" list.
This was me and Carmine just riding around his yard.
Ya know, over his kid's toys, trashing his slate walls near his pond, and stuff.
The stairs aren't "regulation" so they're pretty steep.
I finally got the stairs dialed. Up AND down. And I only bailed once!
To go up.
Ride Up - Weight Back - Throttle Open - Weight Forward - Throttle Closed
To go down.
The key here was to ride the front wheel over
while going fast enough so the wheel wouldn't flop to one side
but not so fast that you didn't hang up on the skid plate.
That's right, you wanted to bottom out so you could
get your weight back and use the rear brake.
Please keep in mind this is nothing
I repeat NOTHING like you see in the trials championship videos.
