I came up with this idea when I read that some BMW clubs have a six month mileage contest.

Usually from April 15th thru October 15th. (the better six months).

Some of these people are putting on up to SIXTY THOUSAND MILES!!!

That's a ton!

A lot of riders on Long Island don't ride all year and most of those that do often concede to the cold and opt for the cage when the weather gets brutal.

So I thought why not have a contest for fun but do it through the winter?  

That's how this all started.

Now we have a Summer Contest and a Winter Contest.
