In The Beginning
I had planed to write a newsletter for a while now but the reason that I decided to write it today is actually pretty simple. It’s all in today’s date. Wednesday, the sixteenth day of September, nineteen ninety-eight. In other words 916 day! What Independence Day is to Americans, what Cinco de Mayo is to Mexicans, is what 916 day should be to motorcyclist everywhere. I don’t own a 916 (not that it wouldn’t look great in my garage/living room) I don’t even own a Ducati. But this point is moot. The timeless styling and extremely sexy lines of this motorcycle are worth celebrating. Even to the general public that either can’t afford one, feels that a bike of this caliber is overkill for their talents, or possibly just not practical. Well, enough of that. This isn’t about Ducati or why people ride them it’s about bikes as a whole. I wanted to start writing down my experiences with motorcycles just so that I could share them with other motorcyclist. Whether it be road racing, dirt riding, street riding, or just stupid things that happen in my life because of motorcycles. I will be printing as often as I’m able. If you have any stories I’ll be glad to read, or maybe even print them. You can E-mail them to me at Catfish "at" CatfishRacing "dot" com. I’ll be waiting to here from you and I hope you’ll be waiting to here from us.
